Quadbiking at Stockton ATC9K.mov

The weather was perfect, so at the last minute we rang quadbikeking.com.au and Amanda on the phone there sorted us with a guided quadbike tour of the sands of Stockton in no time. I had the 9K HD all ready to go on my helmet, so it was an ideal opportunity to get some fresh footage. Note how steady the filming is, we've sorted the mount out so there is no vibrational movement, just the small movements of the helmet on my head itself over bumpy ground. Most of this footage is shot on the 720 setting, which has the option of either 30fps or 60fps. The final scene on in the clip is on the full 1080 HD setting. We would like firstly to thank the Worimi people who are the original owners of the land. Various midden piles can still be seen around stockton beach and they are marked for preservation. To compliment this, we've chosen a backing track from an amazing Australian aboriginal singer Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu. Through his blindness, Geoffrey has developed amazing guitar playing skills and his voice is virtually beyond description. the track is "Marwurrumburr" from his first solo album "Gurrumul" available through itunes and skinnyfishmusic.com.au Geoffrey's bio at gurrumul.com is quite amazing and well worth the read if you have the time. Additionally we'd like to very much thank the crew at quadbikeking.com.au with my 10 year old fellow on board as well, you want sensible, caring hands, (not gun-ho yahoos) and that is exactly what we got. To get to the quadbike area ...
